Biblical Keys to Grief

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

When someone we love dies, it is natural to grieve, but when the person who has died is a believer, we do not need to grieve hopelessly.

Dos and Dont's

  • Don’t make any major decisions for at least a year. Do make short term goals.
  • Don’t stay away because you don’t know what to say. Do bring the ministry of presence.
  • Don’t try to intellectually solve an emotional problem. Do actively listen and provide a sounding board.
